Thomas acquired his
training and managerial experience over sixteen years, working
for various prestigious establishments.
He started his career at Bertorelli's as a Management Trainee
and worked his way through the ranks at restaurants like
Corney & Barrow, The Greenhouse (with Gary Rhodes) and
Langan's Brasserie. Thomas then opened two sites for Group Flo
UK in '97 and '98 as General Manager; He then moved on to work
for Rebecca Mascaranhas as Operations Manager at Sonny's and
The Phoenix.
Since establishing Enigma Recruitment and Consultancy four years
ago, Thomas has gained a high profile client portfolio consisting
mainly of four and five star Luxury Hotels, Country Houses and
Relais Châteaux properties along with prestigious restaurants
and bars.
Thomas specialises in Management Recruitment and Restaurant Consultancy.
He has vast experience at the sharp end and combines this with
a genuine enthusiasm to lead Enigma.
Michelle began her career at grass roots level managing rural based restaurants. From this vital platform, she moved to London based companies to take responsibility for the setting up of a number of retail food outlets as well as taking on a role within the management team of a new fine dining city based restaurant. Having gained essential and invaluable experience within the hospitality sector at the top level, Michelle was approached to work on a project opening a number of eateries at Liberty in London.
Although Michelle’s forte is in restaurant management/consulting, she brings with her the benefit of a background in sales & advertising and understands the importance of successful marketing to aid business growth. Michelle has a strong, confident approach to her clients and their needs. She is driven to succeed and her enthusiasm for the restaurant industry gives those she works for the drive to reach their goals.

Solutions in 2002, Adie gained over 20 years experience in
managing organisations and teams in a variety of roles including
leader of senior management, marketing and fundraising teams
and deputy chief executive of a national charity.
A lover of variety and
challenge, Adie has worked with – and continues to learn
from – the best coaches, trainers and mentors in the
world. By such collaboration, Adie’s skills remain fresh,

Sabrina has concentrated her expertise from years of organising

into becoming the new Events & Catering arm of Enigma Solutions.

Dinners, Bar Mitzvahs, Red-Carpet Events and Restaurant & Product

During Denis's career,
which has spanned more then a decade, he has gained a wealth
of knowledge and experience working for some of London's top
bars and restaurants. He started working for the Roux Brothers
at '24' (NatWest Tower 42) now Rhodes 24, quickly making his
way to the managerial echelons. He later moved to Mayfair to
work at Brian Turner's restaurant as Bar Manager and later
to set-up and open the cocktail bar at the prestigious IOD
in Pall Mall. He currently is working as Bar Manager at the
Rosewood Bar @ Gordon Ramsey’s Michelin starred Maze.
Highly motivated, Denis
has also taken part in competitions, organised private events
for VIP's, cocktail lists and run various bar training courses
and sessions. Denis specialises in bar consultancy, specifically
in setting-up new bars, cocktail lists, brand training and organising
cocktail events.
Gianbattista has been working
with his family business since 1992 when he took his high school
diploma in scientific studies. Afterwards he attended two majors
in Analysis and Business Organization in Milan at the Carlo
Secoli Institute, the most important Italian Business School
for the Fashion Industry.
Due to his family’s
company, he managed to work for the biggest wholesalers in
Italy and for some famous and notable Italian Fashion Houses
including D&G. Up to 2005 he worked as a consultant for
these firms managing the creation of some of their products.
Afterwards he decided to face a new challenge and switch to
work wear clothing, uniforms and to the promotional clothing
market. Gianbattista’s eye for detail, experience and
intuitive hospitality fashion designs will give our clients
the opportunity to make a positive visual impact to their employee’s
appearances.
Nicole took a degree in
Public Relations and Advertising with a major in Business Tourism
and Events Organisation. She worked as a graphic designer in
a PR company in Milan where she created adverts for Teorema
Tour and other clients.. In 2005 she joined a fashion company
as Head of Communication. Her profile was wide-ranging and
included organization of fashion shows and opening events,
marketing of the company’s retail chain, creation of
adverts and company profile materials, liaising with buyers.
Nicola’s organizational skills and abilities to coordinate
and oversee the running of the hospitality fashion brand of
Enigma will ad an invaluable service to all our clients.
Kevin has been working in the Hospitality IT
market for the past 25 years. In the 1980s Kevin worked for Checkout
Computer Systems designing and developing Touch Screen EPoS terminals
and was instrumental in the roll-out of over 3000 systems in
the UK
After leaving XN Corporation (formally Checkout)
Kevin started KCell Services Ltd providing maintenance and repair
services to the Pubs, Clubs and Restaurants.
John has been in the IT sales industry for over
27 years. John worked with several major corporations and groups
like McDonalds Hotels, THF, Scottish and Newcastle.
After the year 2000 “crisis”, John
decided that consultancy rather than system sales was the way
forward and formed his own company.
In 2003 Kevin and John formed TISSL ltd with
the intention to develop the “Best EPOS Solution in the
World” by combining fantastic software with reliable and
modern hardware. They strongly believe that this combination
can only be successful with a foundation of Support Services.
